Action Plan

The Way Council has developed an Action Plan to accomplish its mission and realize its vision, by which the council endeavors to:

  • foster a community (‘Council’) of ministries and kedoshim (set-apart ones) who actively support our efforts;
  • share the Good News of the Messiah to the world and show His love made manifest by caring for those in need;
  • promote Messianic Torah observant ministries, businesses, communities, and individuals;
  • build a collection of resources covering Messianic Torah observant doctrine and lifestyle;
  • cultivate a network of disciples who are properly trained and contributing to ongoing outreach;
  • equip educational institutions to teach about Messianic Torah movements and doctrine;
  • curate programs and events with broad visibility and deep impact.

Read on below for our steps to turn this plan into reality. The council is currently in Phase 1, Step 2 (A&B) of its Action Plan.

Step 1 – Establish a Web Presence

This includes launching a website, creating social media accounts, and beginning to share content.

Step 2A – Connect with Faith Leaders

This includes reaching out to and establishing cooperative ties with Messianic / Torah Observant ministries and leaders.

Step 2B – Recruit Council Members, Ministry Members, & Sponsors

This includes identifying those who could serve as organizational leaders, join as Council Members or Ministry Members, and/or support as Council Sponsors.

Step 3 – Incorporate as a Nonprofit Organization

This includes filing as a Virginia Nonstock Corporation, filing as a federal 501(c)3 Public Charity, and acquiring all the appropriate state and federal tax exemptions.

Create Council Member Committees

These working groups will identify, plan, and execute initiatives to support the council’s mission and vision.

Cultivate a Network of Trained Disciples

This network will include established and emerging scholars, anointed and lay leaders, and others active in their family, congregations, and communities.

Build Financial Resources

Secure a committed stream of contributions, sponsorship funds, and reserves to cover the costs of operations and council activities.

Expand the Council Member Network

The council member network will be expanded in an effort to bring in more active, contributing members to help grow the council’s reach, activities, and impact. The council will endeavor to become a platform for member engagement and initiatives.

Bring on Additional Sponsors

Council leadership and members will help identify and secure additional sources of funding to scale up investment in projects and initiatives by the council and its members. The council’s ability to have a deep and positive impact on the world will grow with increased funding and proper stewardship.

Activate and Support the Disciple Network

The disciple network will be activated to begin reaching and equipping others, and the council will endeavor to support them with resources (both informational and financial) and placement in advanced leadership, teaching, and mentorship roles across the landscape of the body of Messiah.

1. To cultivate the premiere community network of the Messianic faith / Torah observant movement. By working together, we will identify and actively pursue key efforts to strengthen the movement to bring Messiah and Torah to the world. In doing so, we will connect the disparate and fragmented communities to find common ground for the common good of the movement.

2. To become the premiere funding platform for the Messianic / Torah observant movement. By raising and pooling financial resources, we will identify and invest in the work and projects of ministries and individuals active in this space, including providing scholarships for those pursuing related academic studies.

3. To transform the landscape of the body of Messiah to be more accepting of Messianic / Torah observant theologies. By establishing positive relationships with the broader Christian community, and discipling new believers in Torah observance, we will fulfill the Scriptural vision of a faithful community of kedoshim (set-apart ones) who hold to testimony of the Messiah (Yeshua) and keep Elohim’s commands.
